1. GP Referral
Your GP will identify that there is a treatment needed.
2. Contact Surgery Now
You will contact Surgery Now for to help with the process of getting your treatment abroad.
3. Find the Best Treatment
We share your information with the consultant and request his feedback on the required treatment.
4. Finance
If you need financing, we will help you make your application to the humm finance company
5. Find the Best Hospital
We will match your treatment to the appropriate surgeon in one of our partner hospitals.
6. Send Required Information
Your GP may need to refer you for diagnostic tests, like ECG, blood tests, x-ray, MRI, etc. and provide the results to the hospital.
7. Schedule Dates
We will liaise with the hospital to get your surgery dates arranged and send your files to them for review.
8. Arrange Transfers
We confirm your travel date and we arrange your transfers from and to the airport. our coordinator
9. Travel
You are now ready to travel. Once you arrive at the hospital you will have an appointment with your consultant the day before you receive your treatment.
10. Surgery and Recovery
On discharge, you will receive your aftercare plan. We will also schedule your rehabilitation, as necessary, and bring you back to the hospital for these appointments or dressing changes.
11. Return and Refund
Once you have returned home, we will submit your application with all the supporting documentation, and you should have your refund between three to six ( if there is s delay on the HSE part) months of applying.
12. Aftercare plan
Surgery Now will help you with the management of your aftercare plan and we will liaise with your Consultant abroad and local GP as required. Your GP will receive a report from the hospital regarding the treatment you received so he/she can update your local medical records.
