How is facial fat grafting performed?

-The second step is fat injection

A 5-8ºC saline solution is injected through the incision to reduce bleeding and break up fat cells. Later, a metal cannula is inserted, with which fat (100-200 ml) is sucked out, which, after being prepared by a special method, is injected into the required area of ​​the face - lips, cheeks, under the eyes.

-The third step is gaining fat

More fat is always injected because only about 40-70 percent of it is recovered. Some of the transplanted cells are treated by the body as normal fat tissue, while the fat cells that have not attached are broken down, carried out and removed from the body.

Postoperative period and healing

Facial care

The places where the fat was transplanted should not be massaged for about a month. Bruising and bruising may occur, which disappear within a few weeks. The final results of the operation are visible after a few months.

Fat volume
