Angina surgery

The price includes:

Tonsil surgery, during which a part of the palatine tonsils is removed, which causes difficulty breathing through the nose, snoring, short-term cessation of breathing during sleep or chronic tonsillitis (a chronic focus of infection in the tonsil niches, manifested by an exacerbation of the disease 3-4 times a year).

Chronic tonsillitis is characterized by a sharp sore throat and pain when swallowing, visible red and swollen tonsils with white spots, high temperature, headache and fatigue, shaking chills, tiring ear and/or neck pain, cough.

Chronic tonsillitis is diagnosed after an examination by an ENT (ears, nose, throat) doctor, examination of the culture of secretions from the throat and a blood test.

Chronic tonsillitis can be treated with antibiotics, local antiseptics, bed rest and drinking plenty of fluids, but if chronic tonsillitis occurs more than 3-4 times a year, surgical treatment is recommended.

How is tonsil surgery performed?

The operation is performed under general anesthesia. During the operation, the hypertrophied (enlarged) part of the tonsils is cut with a coblator, mini shaver, laser or cautery. After the focus of infection is removed, repeated exacerbations of the disease stop, the development of joint, heart, and kidney diseases is prevented, work capacity and quality of life improve.

Postoperative period and healing

Do not play sports and engage in active physical activity for about 2 weeks after surgery;

Rest is recommended for several days after surgery;

It is recommended to avoid hot rooms (saunas, hot baths, solariums, swimming pools) for 2 weeks;

For 10 days, it is recommended to eat soft, soft, pureed, not hot food, not to drink hot and carbonated drinks.
