Plastic surgery of the vagina and perineum

During surgery, incisions are made inside the vagina, the muscles of the perineum are brought together, and sometimes the excess of the vagina is removed. In order to achieve a better and longer-lasting effect, special meshes can also be used during the operation.

The incisions are sutured with sutures that dissolve by themselves. After this operation, delivery can be performed by planned Caesarean section.

Another method of operation is also possible - when the patient's own body fat is injected into the vaginal wall. Fat can be taken from the waist, buttocks, thighs or abdomen. This method is recommended for women who are still planning to become pregnant in the future, as it is possible to give birth naturally after it.

What is important to pay attention to after surgery?

After the operation, you should refrain from sexual intercourse for six weeks.

Physical exertion should be avoided for approximately two months (until the surgical wounds are completely healed).
