Post-operative/post-procedural period and healing

After the operation, soreness may appear when touching the operated area, which begins to subside after about 3-4 days.

On the 2nd-4th postoperative day, bruises may appear on the skin, which usually disappear on their own without any additional treatment.

After the operation, the operated area is slightly swollen, reddened, and may become painful. Swelling is at its peak on the third day after surgery, after which it begins to subside until it finally disappears.

Professional oral hygiene is necessary every 3 months.

2 hours after the operation, you should not eat, later on the same day, avoid coarse and hot food, and do not consume products that increase blood pressure, such as coffee and alcohol. It is recommended to choose soft food for 7-14 days after the operation, as hard, spicy food can harm the healing wound and cause premature exposure of the implant.

Sutures are removed 7-10 days after the operation.

Smoking is prohibited for at least 2 weeks after surgery.

After surgery, it is recommended to avoid heavy physical exertion (training, lifting heavy objects), hot baths and saunas for 5 days.
