The question of how a king meets his end on the battlefield is something that, you know, often sparks a lot of interest. For Richard the Third, the last Plantagenet ruler of England, his passing was not just a historical event; it was, in a way, a very dramatic moment. His story, as a matter of fact, closes out an entire era of English royalty, leaving behind a tale that historians and curious people have been trying to piece together for centuries. On a rather significant day, the twenty-second of August in the year fourteen eighty-five, a great conflict took place.
